Whitehill and Bordon is steeped in history having long been recognised as a garrison town with an army presence for over 100 years. The Quebec Barracks were home to many service personnel including the honoured Somerset Light Infantry who first occupied the barracks in 1903.

Now Quebec Park pays tribute to Bordon’s rich history and Ministry of Defence connections with the preservation and regeneration of the Centurion and Chieftain blocks, becoming a focal point for the community to enjoy. Designed to be energy efficient and to encourage sustainable living, the Enterprise Hub and Community Cafe will create a new and flexible area for living and working.

Quebec Park residents can also benefit from access to walks in the Bordon Inclosure. A woodland area for all members of the community, it’s designed for families, walkers and dog owners alike.

Whitehill and Bordon is set in a beautiful natural environment. A gateway to the South Downs National Park it boasts comprehensive, accessible green space and is surrounded by idyllic scenery.

Supermarkets and convenience stores are also on your doorstep, with larger retail outlets and shopping centres in nearby Alton, Guildford and Petersfield less than 40 minutes drive away. With new schools, transport links, health centres and a regenerated town centre planned over the coming years, Bordon will be at the heart of a transformation to this area of East Hampshire.

Whitehill and Bordon’s masterplan of regenerating the town and area looks to achieve an improvement in water efficiency and energy performance of all buildings, as well as aiming for carbon and water neutrality across the whole town.
